So, the festive season is amongst us. A time to reflect on the year that was and also catch up with a family member or two. A time to have a think about the year ahead and what you might want to achieve.
The importance of having a goal can never be over rated. A goal gives your running a purpose, a reason to get out the door on the hot and cold days. A reason to dig deep in training and to be honest with yourself. It gives you the ability to walk away from a training session and to be able to say that you gave all. Having a goal means that when the day finally arrives the excitement is electric and a fruitful end performance all the more rewarding.
