Lee Troop post London Marathon interview
7 WEEKS TO GOLD COAST
It was a great thrill for me to train with Rob De Castella (Deek) during the closing stages of his career. I was training with Deek when he won Rotterdam for the second time. I was confident that he was going to run well and I had a small wager with a friend of mine as to the time Deek would run. The time I nominated was spot on, to the exact second that he ran.
I believe that the key session that lead to Deek being nominated as the number 1 Marathon runner in the World for the 1980's was his Sunday long run. Please click
