I was in Sydney on Sunday for the Sydney Morning Herald Half Marathon to help out with the television commentary. Seeing I was unable to run in the event I snuck in a short run before the race around the course. Whilst sharing the streets with the night club patrons making their way home I lived in the past. I enjoyed a replay in my mind of my performances in the SMH Half over the years and it enabled me to have one of those magic runs where you feel like you are hovering over the ground with little effort. If you are preparing for the Gold Coast Airport Marathon I trust your training is going smoothly. If you would like to be involved in the Half Marathon or Marathon in a special way you may consider being a pace runner.
